pelt. Prominent Silver Grullo
mane|tail. She has a thick silver mane and tail. Her mane goes down her back further than thought normal and her tail has a scaly cap at the top. Her locks are flowing and rather wild but not excessively long. A series of thorn-like spikes crawl along the top of her neck and down forehead, getting smaller as they get closer to her nose.
markings. Ananzi has two white socks on her back legs. She possesses dramatic primitive markings which include leg barring, a thick dorsal stripe down her back, and significantly darker points. A bizarre webbing comes from under her chin and crawls over her cheeks. Like her mother, Ananzi's markings are pink and purple jagged snake-like patterned spots going down her neck and curve around her buttocks.
eyes. Like her father, her eyes are red and fiery.

deformities. The scales also spur from her back and down the top of her neck, around shoulders, and down her legs. Her hooves are black---even the ones which don white socks. She has a massive underbite with slightly yellowing canines. As a foal the sharp teeth will be small, pointed things but will grow as she ages and will eventually jut out over her nostrils. There are two sharp teeth which are super large and closer together and two smaller canines towards the corner of her mouth jutting outward as well. As an adult, a goatee will form on her chin that will be a rich pink hue at the ends.

history. Ananzi has a rather impressive linage. Her sire is a brute named Sernutarzi, an evil demon of stag of ruled over many terras in his life time. Her dam was a schizophrenic mare named Shenzi (alternate personality, Ophella). The stallion and the mare fell in love in a tryst. And Tarzi took her quickly. Shenzi found herself with child almost instantly. However, little did Tarzi know---Shenzi was also seeing another stallion across the realm by the name of Julian. He was a blue-winged beast with claws instead of hooves. A most remarkable creature. Shenzi did not realize until after she gave birth with twins, that her babies were the subjects of a heteropaternal pregancy---meaning she had carried two foals in her womb simultaneously, each possessing a different father. The notion drove Sernutarzi mad with envy and he sought to end the stallion's life who had dared violate his mate and queen. But things did not quite reach such a pinnacle, as Shenzi began to suffer from postpartum depression and without a moment's notice---she abandoned her babies and the life she had made for herself. The fillies were left to fend for themselves. Ananzi and Jezzabella, her dark blue twin, loved one another. Often times they could read each other's thoughts and feel each other's pain. They stayed close, knowing that with their mother gone and their father, Sernutarzi, driven mad with rage and longing for his mate, they were all each other had. Until one evening, when a terrible storm ripped through the kingdom and separated the fillies. Ananzi spent weeks searching for her sister...and to no avail. She finally came to terms with the fact that she would never see her beloved twin sister again. And so she moved on with her life. She travelled as a nomad for a couple of months before stumbling upon Epona. She has yet to decide if this is where she will remain forever.
personality. Ananzi, or Nanzi for short, is a complicated thing and she will surely change as she ages and not necessarily by choice. When she is born, she is naturally competitive. She possesses a drive to win that is only satiated by a victory. Her ambitiousness can often times get in the way of more important conquests however. Despite her drive to win and be the best in all ways, Ananzi has a big heart--at least for those she is close to. Her sister is typically her only lifeline. Most creatures will find Ananzi to be quite terrifying and unnatural and she will quickly gain the attention of entities that will change her young life with a swiftness. Where her twin sister is concerned, though Bells was born first by a mere two minutes before, Nanzi is hell-bound and determined to claim 'first.' She has a nurturing and care-taker way of things and will protect her sister despite the fact that she knows they are only half-sisters. The bizarre circumstances of their conception never goes without being noticed by the intuitive filly but she hardly cares. She is wise beyond her years and seeks more of a general friendship with her parents rather than a metaphorical wing to live beneath. Her determined nature will make certain things more exhausting for her later in life.
