Rules to the Kingdom

Please make sure that you read these rules before you do anything. If a staff member starts to tell that no member is reading the rules that there will be a password that will be hidden within the rules that will be the only way that you can go and open the Fire Pit and create a character. Also, here is a key for everyone to know if there are new rules and so on in the rules and who has updated them and so on.

MAIN.

one. Keep the profanity to a minimum when you are speaking out of character and don't make every words that your character says have a profanity word right behind it.
two. You must post more than two hundred words as the minimum and there is no max for how many words to type.
three. Nothing graphic is allowed. This site is PG-13 [which is require by the proboards staff also]
four. No short text when it comes to posting. We [the staff] do not mind if you do it in the c-box, but when your doing it in character form than warning will be placed out.
five. We will have activity checks at least once a season or every other season, but this will not go active until there are over ten members that have joined the Kingdom.
six. There will be no talking back to a staff member or even a fight allowed within the C-box. If this is done consequences will be placed on whoever is involved [yes this does include a staff member]
seven. Power-play is not allowed. The only time that it is allowed to happen is if the other member that you are role-playing with allows this action. We would also like you to go and post at the bottom of the post that the person you are role-playing with allowed you to power-play.
eight. You can thread as many times that you wish to post a thread. Just be sure that you keep up with your threads and you may post a thread tracker if you need to.

CREATING CHARACTER.

one. You are required to use the form that is given and post it in a thread. Make sure that you fill it out the best that you can and if you need any help with filling out the bio. Do not be scared to ask a staff member about whatever you need help with.
two. Genetics. . .we are all not good with genetics and yes it is on the character form, but you do not have to fill it out at all if you do not know just what the genetics are. Though if you would like to do some research for genetics that you would like to have. I have found this place kind of helpful when it comes to figuring out genetics, here.
three. All your characters that you create must be approved by a staff member before you are allowed to and begin to posting your character. Though you are allowed to plot your character before they are accepted.
four. Once your character reached over the age of 25 things should be slowing down for them and it be much harder for them to do much such as breeding, leading a land, or even breeding at that. For once your character has reached the age of 30, your character must pass away. The only way to keep this from happening is by using the fountain of youth [which can only be used once on a character]
five. Max height for a horse is 22hh [yes we are allowing horses past this height as long as! they have a horse breed in them that is over 18hh] and the minimum height is 14 hands high. NOTE:: things can be bought in the store to make you either taller or shorter than the max and mini height
six. You may have strange marked equines or equines with lion tails and so on, but there are no major marked or deformities. UNLESS you go and buy the item in the store to allow this to happen.
seven. No glowing markings or eyes allowed unless that item is bought in the store.
eight. There are no character limits here. You may make as many horses as you like as long as you think you can keep them active, but if you wish to not play your character and want to adopt them out than you can go here to do so.
nine. Character's age will change right as winter begins! The staff will make an announcement when this happens, but please make sure that you keep up to date with your horses age when that happens.

TAKING LEAVE.

one. If you are going to be gone for a while, please make sure that you post how long you might be gone or if you are leaving forever. Just so that everyone that your role-playing with and the staff know that you are gone and do not delete you if an activity check happens.
two. If you have posted that you are going to be gone for a certain amount of time and it has been two weeks after you posted your away thread. We will consider that you are inactive and your name will go into the inactive part when activity check happens and you might be deleted. So it is easy if you can let someone know that you are going to be gone longer that way they can let us know and add onto your away thread that you are gone for a long time.
three. We do not demand that you post a certain amount a post a week, but please make sure that you at least post your characters in one thread so that we know that you are still around posting.

CLAIMING / CHALLENGING.

one. If you are challenging for a land or a mare than you must post within the herd for herd challenges or in Pip Piper's Darkened Canyon for if you are wishing to try and steal a stallions mare.
two. No challenges or stealing of another's mare if there is an away thread up. That is unless whatever happens within the absent rules that are above.
three. Once you challenge for a land, you and your opponent must duscuss just what you get for winner/loser place, number of minimum/max wording, how many dodges/attacks and how many post for each person.
four. There is no power-play once again. That is unless you are playing out what has happened to your horse.
five. Staff will judge who is the winner when challenging. 
six. If you are challenging from another and it is not answered in a week than you automatically win. That is unless there is a away message from the owner of that character.
seven. If your land has been challenged for and you have to go away, you may discuss with the other person whether to hold the fight till you return or not. If a staff member has to step in to decide what is to happen than the fight will be placed on hold till the person leaving returns.
eight. Double teaming is allowed as long as the person you are fighting against/with is okay with the idea.
nine. After a land has been challenged for it is free from challenging for one month. This means the land can not be challenged to be returned for a whole month.
ten. We do ask that you now post the age of your horse when you are doing your first post in a challenge or fighting post. This is something that will be added into the judging of your horse. Please remember that once your horse turns 25 years old that things will be harder for them to win or even hold onto.

BREEDING / BIRTHING.

one. Breeding seasons are Winter and Summer. Birthing seasons are Fall and Spring. Mind you though if your foal is born in the Fall you must have a home or the foal will have a very slim chance in life.
two. After you have had your horses breed in another place than you must come here and fill out the form that is given and a staff member will come  and tell you the future on your foal and you will have a date for when the foal is going to be born. And once that date has come you have five days to post here the birth of the foal [not graphic] to introduce the foal being born and it does not have to be role-played out with another equine.
three. Please make sure that you fill out the form out and make sure that you do have the link to the two where they have bred with one another. Just to help show proof that they have bred.
four. If the birth is not paid out, the foal(s) will die.
five. Once again, no graphic breeding is allowed or even graphic birthing.
six. Foals will be born seven REAL days after a staff member has posted the foal stats. This date will be placed up on the stats that are given. An remember that you have five days to post the foal is born in which this does not have to be role-played out unless the sire and dam's creators wish that. Also, in the title of the birthing thread please put this as the header - foal(s) names :: type.

STEALING

one. If a mare is stolen and she has a foal with her that is still nursing, then the foal must go with the mare no matter what.
two. The mare [and/or foal] may not be stolen back or challenged for back for a WHOLE month (yes that means four weeks).
three. When are you wanting to steal a mare, you must do what the example shows in the board discription. An in the header you must put the year and season that the you are stealing. But here is another example if you did not see the example given.
Robin, King of the Natives, is stealing Icy from Eugene, of the Nobles. Choosing even numbers
----> this means you have to put your name, the name of the mare you want to steal, who you are stealing from and what number [even or odds] that you want to guess the dice will be rolled near. Remember that the dice will be between the number 1-6.
four. A staff member will roll the dice to see who is the winner and if the mare stays or goes.
