Geisha finally got her little family back to the herd lands, she nudged each of her children close to her and let out a call for Daryl. She was overjoyed but still hadn’t thought of any names for either or. Which pained her because her children deserved a name, she watched as the teetered around the area exploring but still staying close and if they went too far she gave them a tiny warning call and they came back. She continued to stare at them trying to come up with a name, finally coming up with a name for the colt when she once more saw the seahorse marking on his shoulder. “My son you shall be blessed Aegeus.” She spoke still uncertain about her daughter’s name, maybe she would leave that up to Daryl, he may have a good and fitting name for such a unique filly. Her children trotted over to her and ducked under getting their fill before she moved forward and too the cave that her and Daryl shared, entering the cave she went to the moss and laid down stretching out so her kids had some place to lay, the trio cuddled up together and Geisha yawned, she knew he would find them no matter where they went but this was the best place in her orbs, they could get the rest they all craved right now and they would be well watched and protected. Picking her crown up she checked over them one more time before lowering her crown and closing her orbs, she could almost feel the hoof falls of Daryl as he neared, yawning she raised her head once more and looked at the entrance knowing he was mere steps away, she was ready to sleep but excited to share this with him but she knew he would be able to tell she was tired and he would tell her to rest.

[smear:357a37]D A R Y L[/smear:0eb312] the archer Daryl was one nervous man at this point. To think that this tough stag was about to have children of his own. Something he truly did not even expect to happen to him this far into his life. Smiling as he watched his mare from a distance. Yes, he was a sneaky stallion, but he would never leave Geisha alone when he knew that she was having his children. He wanted to make sure that no harm came to them at all. No matter what it took he was not going to let any of them die. Then his eyes caught the sight of her leading them back into their resting place. So he knew what this meant. This was his time to go down and see them face to face. Allowing his daggers to slowly move down to where they were at. Eyes looking over them as he walked into the cave quietly. Seeing the sight of them curled up together and his sleepy mare looking over at the cave as he entered. Giving off a slight smile towards her as he lowered his head and nuzzled her gently.  [smear:1979e6]"They are amazing. An you my dear did amazing. But before you even speak. Close your eyes and rest. I'll be right here."[/smear:19e619] He spoke towards her before lowering his figure to the ground between them and the opening to the cave. Thorns flickering around as he listened to see just what the love of his life might say towards him. Since he knew that was coming his way. [smear:1979e6]SPEECH[/smear:19e619]

She saw him enter and she smiled as he marveled at their children, she normally would have said something but she was just too tired to even so she just nodded and lowered her crown and closed her eyes falling asleep instantly. She soon however woke feeling energized and of course the stirring of her children and she stood, stretching out her sore muscles and the standing still so they could nurse, all the while playing with Daryls mane, tugging playfully on it with a smile on her face as Aegeus and Sophia moved to check out the man on the cave floor. “Children this is your father, he protects our lands and is the king.” She spoke quietly hoping they would understand the role that they may very well play some day. “Does that make me a prince?” Aegeus questioned, “Yes and it makes your sister a princess.” There was squeals of joy and Geisha laughed, watching the two rough house, “Play nice you two I don’t need any injuries on my watch.” She spoke mostly looking at Aegeus but knowing Sophia could deal out just as much if she was anything like her mother. Hearing a rumble she watched the two skitter and prick their ears toward the entrance and then look at Geisha and Daryl looking for answers to the sound, “That is thunder it means that soon a wet substance called rain which is just water will follow.” “Can we go outside and play in it?” Geisha shook her head she wasn’t about to let them get sick on her watch and she didn’t need anyone getting struck by lightning or being near something that gets struck lightning. Looking to Daryl she shot him a question look, wondering if she was being to protective over them.

It kind of ticked him off but the playful motion of Geisha messing with his mane kind of put his mind away from that and back to where he should be. Giving a soft smile as she listened to her words as she spoke to the children of who he was to them. Giving a nod of his head and a chuckle from his lips as he heard what his son had said. Looking down to him as he stood up upon his daggers.  [smear:1979e6]"Just don't get it in your little head that you are Prince and that you are better than anyone. That is what can end up in a lot of trouble."[/smear:19e619] He said as he looked to him and lowered his head as the two started to rough house. Reaching over and nipping at the young buck's shoulder. Shifting his weight as he lifted his head and looked to his daughter as he turned and looked over towards the little one. Wondering what she was thinking as she looked to him. Snikering to himself as he listened to the thunder sound. Slightly seeing her jump but she seemed to notice that it was not going to harm her. Then his ears moved over towards the other one as he spoke. Thorns took in as he asked if they could go and play outside and then Geisha shake her head at the thought of them playing in the rain. Eyes seeing as she looked over towards him wondering if she was doing over her jump. So with that, Daryl lowered his frame back down after moving a bit and looked into his youngster's eyes. [smear:19e619]"When the loud sound of the thunder is gone and the flashing lights of the lightening is gone we can go play in the rain for a little bit, but not long. Right now I want to know what my beautiful children's names are."[/smear:1979e6] He said as he looked at them. Seeing the young blue girl wander over to him and looked over him for a moment as she reached over and tugged his forelock before backing up so that he could get a better look at her. [smear:7fb4a5]"Mommy no give me name."[/smear:208669] The little girl replied to her father before looking over towards her mother. Though all Daryl could do was look at him and smile. Hearing that baby talk that came from her lips started to place a smile there upon his mug before words started to form in his own muzzle. [smear:197e6]"What if we call you Sophia. Since Sophia seems to be a very fitting name for you."[/smear:1979e6] Though all little Sophia could do was smile at her dad since he gave her a name and a name that he approved of. The young colt nodded, heeding his fathers words. He didn’t want to make him mad and he would do everything in his power to make sure everyone was treated with respect and no one felt like they didn’t exist. He continued to rough house with his sister but a lot nicer then he had been, he didn’t want to hurt her. Geisha was so proud of what her a Daryl had created and it was nice to know he didn’t think she was over doing it and backed her on her request, she didn’t mind if they played in the rain but like their father had said not until the dangerous parts were gone. When he asked of the children’s names, she had forgotten to bring it up to him about the filly whom she couldn’t for the life of her think of a name for, she was just so unique and much like her mother with the flower growths. “Im Aegeus that’s what mommy at least named me,” she bowed her head when their daughter spoke and said she had no name it was true she hadn’t but the name Daryl had given was perfect, “Its perfect and im sorry I didn’t give her a name it was just so hard to think of a fitting name for such a perfect daughter, Aegeus name was a lot easier for me because of that unique blue sheen and seahorse he has.” Geisha spoke and looked to her daughter, who was looking at her father with the hugest smile, she was happy but sad because her daughter seemed to admire him more, she shook it off and spoke “Ok we can go out and play in the puddles now but only those around the cave, tomorrow we will see the rest.” She spoke with a grin and watched as Aegeus bolted for the entrance only to wipe out but stand just as quickly making it outside a too the first puddle.

For he was not going to have a son that things that he is better than everyone just because he was born into royalty. It was just something he knew could get into a little ones mind very quickly. Watching as the two of them play for a moment before he walked to the mouth of the cave and looked around for a moment with thorns perked on his skull as he listened for a moment to see that the thunder was slowly down and the flashes from the lightning were disappearing quickly. Turning his skull as he looked at his son as he spoke. Snapping his teeth at his son at his almost snobby comment that he had made.  [smear:1979e6]"Well Aegeus those who are named second always get a better name than the first."[/smear:19e619] He said in almost the same manner before looking over towards Sophia with a wink of his eye. Yes he was teasing the young buck but he had to do it. He would defend his little girl since she was not named until Daryl came. Which he did not mind since he got the honor of naming his first girl. Then looking over towards Geisha as she began to speak towards him. Nodding his head towards her words as she finished her words.  [smear:19e619]"It is fine. Just means I got the lucky chance of naming the first girl."[/smear:1979e6] He smirked as he listened to the sound of the rain ease up and the words that were coming form Geisha's lips. Taking in a deep breath  of air before he trotted himself and looked over to see his son fall over in the water. Laughing slightly as he looked at him. Watching his sister trotting out and jump over him with a large splash to follow as she jumped over him to get him wet.Daryl grinned as she came right to his side and stood under Daryl's fiure. Watching her son as he stood and shook himself off but didn’t splash his sister back, he just lowered his head and trotted back inside, having enough of that. He came to stand next to her which she hadn’t moved from her spot and had just watched everything happen. She was a bit offended by Daryl , well wouldn’t say offended just upset but that was the emotions talking as the hormones still ran crazy within her. She lowered her crown and began to groom her son, making sure he was dry from ear tips to tail end. She stood patiently as he ate and then slowly moved away going to the tiny stream that ran through the cave, to see if any fish were moving through the passage and wouldn’t you have it there was. It instantly filled her with joy and happiness taking her mind off of Daryl for a moment, Aegeus came up beside his mother and looked down, amused at what he was seeing. “Mommy what these?” He asked and she smiled, “these are my friends the fish, they swim in water, such as this stream, they also get a lot bigger and swim in the ocean which you will see tomorrow.” Geisha spoke with a smile, turning to look to Daryl and Sophia then back to Aegeus and finally her orbs came to rest on the fish, watching them dart back and forth and then settle and swim peacefully out the exit hole and into the much bigger waters. Aegeus watched the fish with his mother for a bit before he moved off and lowered his frame to the moss, stretching out and closing his eyes. Geisha turned and stood guard over him cocking a hind leg and watching her daughter who wasn’t really her daughter she was a daddy’s girl all the way and there was nothing she could do about that.

He goes and makes a joke with his own children and there is that look that he gets from Geisha. Sometimes he wondered just why he loved this girl. Sighing as he watched his son march in and then the two go off to the shores. Daryl looked down to Sophia who was smiling up at him and Daryl could not even do it back to him. Sighing as he looked up and around for a moment before he looked back to the woods. [smear:1979e6]"Go with your mother."[/smear:19e619] He simply spoke down towards her but not even looking at her. For he felt a bit bad at this point and was just done with everything. [smear:7fb4a5]"Bu-"[/smear:208669] She saw that look in her father's eyes and turned and walked over to where her mother was at. Carrying her small figure into the water to where the water came up to her knees. An with that Daryl sighed as he turned and walked back into the woods. Making his way up to the top of the cliff where he got a view of everything. Taking his figure and standing with his eyes darting alla round the terrain. Trying to soak everything up before looking up to the sky for a moment. His mind thinking but not going any where. Then looking back down to the sight of Geisha standing in her little pools, Sophia just standing three horse lengths away from her mother and not in the pools, and then there was Aegeus who was just resting there in the moss. Geisha watched him go and she felt awful again, so she packed up the children and went to the own place she knew to go her pools. She felt safe but then again something was off, ears danced and she grew nervous, fidgeting and calling to her daughter to bring her close, waking her son in the process as she scanned the land once again and tilted her crown up trying to smell something anything but nothing came until she saw it walk on the beach, all four hundred pounds of the beast, a big male black bear staring right at her and her children. She heard a squeak and instantly hushed her children, whispering to them to back quietly. Geisha just wanted to make it out of this with her hide and she wanted her children to make it out alive, flattening her ears she gave a warning and put herself in front of her son and daughter and continued to back as the bear started moving closer stopping to stand on its hides and growl. Turning briefly she screamed to her kids, “RUN up that hill now and get in the cave!” She squealed and called to Daryl and turning to face the bear once more that was approaching her she continued to back until she felt safe enough to turn and run, the bear giving chase. She kicked out and felt it snap at her rump and felt her hooves make contact with its jaw making it stumble back down the hill and give up, she kept running despite the sting and the pain and didn’t stop until she was in the cave. Sides heaving she stood there for a moment getting herself together before looking around and finding her children coward in the back, wide eyed and scared half to death. Calling for them she checked them over, not caring about her ownself, it would heal in time for now it was about comforting her children. She found a few scratches on their legs but that was from brush scratching over their legs. “it’s ok he is gone, that is why we must always be on alert and why you must always be near one of us so we can at least see you in case the warning is given.” They nodded and Aegeus trotted around, stopping cold. “Mommy you are leaking red,” He squealed and went to her front cuddling close, “Aegeus I will be fine a little bite never hurt anyone it will heal in time, mommy as you put it is just going to leak for a while.” She laughed and bumped his side, waiting for Daryl knowing he wasn’t going to be happy she was hurt.

He saw the sight of a black shadow creeping in the shadows. No he could not make it out just yet, but he knew that it was trouble. So with no crying out he took off charging over the land. Snorting as he moved quickly. Seeing a stubborn daughter of his not really wanting to go with her mother, but his son went right with Geisha, but when they caught sight of the black creature she quickly moved over towards her mother's side. Then his eyes noticed that it was a bear and he could not help but move any faster than they were going before. Hearing Geisha's cry out and the sound of hooves moving. Eyes looking down to them as it felt like he could not get to them fast enough. Noticing as he got closer that the bear had probably gotten at least a nip off of Geisha, but he could not fully tell right now until he got closer to them. An Daryl was not going to allow this bear to make anymore harm to come to his family. Though it seemed that the bear was probably going to run off now and come back in a couple days and Daryl was going to make sure that it did not even happen. Taking his figure and charging down towards the bear. Feeling their bodies clash and before the bear could even grab a hold of him. He placed his teeth deep into the bears neck and flung him as far as he could. Charging forwards and stomping over the bear before turning back to it. Seeing it standing and Daryl dropping his skull towards the beast. His massive body charging towards the bear with teeth wide open. Watching as the bear really did turn and run without looking back. Hoping that was the last time they would see this bear again. So with that he took in a deep breath and before even wiping off his face. He turned and cantered quickly went back up to the cave. Eyes looking in with thorns and head perked high. Sighing as he saw that they were all fine, but he could smell blood. His figure quickly moved forwards as his tail moved up in an alert kind of manner. Boa arched as he looked over Geisha till he found where the blood was. Turning without speaking and picking off some moss that his father had showed him to use when he was really really little. Putting it over her wound knowing that she would probably hurt as he did this but it had to be done. Eyes gazing over the three of them as he did not know just what to say. They were all safe yet they were all a bit shook up. Taking a relaxing breath before he turned and moved to the opening of the cave. Holding himself there as he kept an eye out. She had heard him enter and looked over her shoulder at him he could tell that they were ok but she could also tell that he smelt the blood, which she was ignoring so she turned back to her children and jumped right out of her skin when she felt something touch the wound and stung, she kicked out still being nervous about the rump area and spun around with a snort. She knew he was only being helpful but he could have forewarned her, like hey im going to touch your rump and this could hurt a bit. After her little freak out she watched him go stand in the entrance knowing they weren’t going to be allowed to leave, so she tended to the children and got them settled in for bed before going over to Daryl and nibbling along his spine before resting her crown upon it. “Im sorry for upsetting you and im sorry if I hit you when I had my fit I wasn’t expecting that.” She spoke quietly turning to make sure they were still sleeping, it was nice having kids but she hadn’t had any time with Daryl sense returning with them. “We made some cute children,” She spoke again with a smile, cocking her left hind leg to get pressure off the bite which was becoming a pain in her butt, literally. “How bad is it? Its becoming a pain in my butt no pun intended but I cant see where it is only feel where it is so I guess that leaves you in charge of caring for my butt.” She laughed and raised her crown and bumped his midsection, “I would take care of your wounds no matter how much I want to pass out at the site of blood I will make sure they are no longer painful or leaky.” She grinned looking at him.

Feeling the touch of the mare as she placed her skull over his back side after sending a nip along his spinal cord. Turning his ears back as he listened but continued to keep an eye out for the moment until she was done speaking. Turning to the Geisha for a moment before looking back out to the opening. [smear:1979e6]"It's fine. Just trying to show the boy what he needs to know while he is young and doesn't need to speak that way aloud. Hell have to learn the hard way, Geisha. Since he has that piece of me I know how he is going to act most likely and I rather him learn this way now than later down the road. I am not doing this to put him down. He needs to toughen up so that he can be here to protect you and Sophia when I am out. An as for the kicking thing....well....let's just say you kick like a girl."[/smear:19e619] Daryl was trying to joke back to his mare but right now he felt torn within his heart after all that had happened before the bear. Taking in a deep breath of air as he turned an ear back to the children. Hearing their breathing and that they were still there and then put his mind back to what was in front of him. Next came another sound of Geisha's words as she spoke about the children and then about her wound. Giving a slight smirk off of his muzzle but not much. Looking back over towards her and then to the little ones as they remained curled up by one another and then looked back to Geisha. [smear:19e619]"We did. Will just take a bit to get use to. An your wound should heal fine. Just do not take the moss off till later. It should help keep the blood from continuing to bleed and will keep the blood smell down for the bear to not find us."[/smear:1979e6] Then his ears took in a bit more after he had finished speaking. Hearing her say that she would help take care of him if he ever got hurt. Then he turned and looked back to her for a moment before reaching back and nipping at her chest. [smear:1979e6]"No need for passing out. Even if I am leaking out."[/smear:19e619] Words ran from his muzzle as he could not believe he had a family. It use to be the one last thing on his mind to ever think of. For he was one that did not really wish for one a while back, but he knew his place and that his mare wanted a foal even though they did not expect to end with two foals.  [smear:1979e6]DARYL[/smear:19e619] & [smear:7fb4a5]SOPHIA[/smear:208669]

She nodded but still spoke, “I know but he still has a part of me in him too lets hope that just reasons itself out as for Sophia she needs to learn to listen to me and not be so stubborn she could have almost been bear food.” She stopped at that not wanting to go into it any further it was a sore subject for her, she listened to him as watched out the entrance with him. “Well I cant take the moss off when I cant reach that part of me, but I guess that’s what cave walls and trees are for if I really get annoyed of it.” She snickered, “ I will try not to but you know im not the strongest being when it comes to blood, do you think we will have more kids or no?” Geisha spoke quietly, knowing that Daryl had never wanted any kind of part of this life and then she came along and in ways changed his thinking, she knew she couldn’t live without him and would be upset if he ever left, but if he couldn’t do it anymore she would let him go but never be able to move on. She sighed and took her crown off his spine and circled around trying to see what it looked like but failing epically and she just gave up and grabbed a hold of his tail and tugged playfully, dropping it and starting to groom him instead. She had never gotten him to really play with her, she couldn’t help that she had a playful nature and it came out every so often. Geisha stopped and looked to him, “I luff you Daryl and I luff everything you do for me and now the kids.” She grinned and waited.

But he thought back to when the bear was coming for them. All he could remember was watching all of them move together. Sophia did not go all stubborn and not listen to her when she said to run. She had actually gone with them. If she had not she would have been dead and Daryl really would have been crushed. He let out a slightly laugh as she turned and looked back over towards her for a quick moment. Nodding his skull in agreement as he thought he heard something so he looked around quickly before looking  back towards her as she spoke again. Words speaking about children again. Oh how he was not really wanting to get into this since they had once before and that Geisha truly wouldn't be ready to breed any time soon.  [smear:1979e6]"That is up to you. Your the one that has to hold them for months."[/smear:19e619] Words spoke back towards the mare before feeling her head leaving his figure. Snorting slightly as he looked around before feeling his tail being tugged. Turning and looking back towards her as she stopped and started to groom her. Taking in her words as she stopped and started to speak towards him again. Speaking of her love for him and he gave off a soft smile that tugged at the corner of his muzzle. Then looked out into the opening as the sun started to drop over the terrain. [smear:19e619]"Sometimes I wonder why you love a monster like myself. Don't get my words mixed up and thinking I'm not liking this, but I do so much wrong at times and truly can be a monster that I wonder just why you stayed close to me."[/smear:1979e6] He spoke towards her in a truth like way. He did not say it to be rude at all, but he said it as he really wasn't sure what part of him she liked. He was a monster that was hidden deep within walls. Knowing that it would come out when it was hungry and wants to eat bad. An seem to always know how to mess up things since it almost took his mare away from him a lot of times instead of making things well like it should be doing. . .to behave and not destroy things.
